Headhunters’ Insights: The 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) Successfully Held in Shenzhen
The 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), known as “China’s No.1 Technology Show,” was grandly held in Shenzhen from November 14 to 16, 2024. This highly anticipated event attracted nearly 5,000 renowned enterprises and international organizations from over 100 countries and regions worldwide. The exhibitor lineup included over 180 Fortune Global 500 companies and central enterprises, more than 1,000 publicly listed companies, and over 2,000 fast-growing “gazelle” and unicorn companies. The exhibition welcomed approximately 400,000 professional visitors over its duration.
Covering a total area of more than 300,000 square meters, the fair featured 22 specialized zones. These ranged from major national equipment and industry-leading supply chains to artificial intelligence and robotics, electronics and big data, clean energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing. Notably, five zones made their debut: Major National Equipment, Tech Giants’ Supply Chains, Specialized and Innovative Productivity, Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Financial Services, and Industry-Education Integration.
During the event, over 4,300 new technologies, products, and achievements were unveiled, spanning 17 industries and 22 professional zones. This set a new record for the fair’s specialization and segmentation. More than 30,000 institutions and organizations, including government agencies, state-owned and multinational corporations, industry associations, and research institutions from over 100 countries and regions, organized group visits. Additionally, over 1,000 professional procurement teams participated.
The event also hosted more than 160 forums and activities, such as the China Hi-Tech Forum and the 2024 China-France Innovation Technology Forum. Over 100 enterprises and institutions showcased their innovations through product launches, demonstrations, and roadshows. CHTF has proven to be a crucial platform for fostering investment, promoting technology transfer, and supporting startups.
